Job Description

Interface with TAI and related TAI subsidiaries on weekly and monthly basis to analyze data on financial statements such as: Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process; Journal Entry preparation and posting of accruals and reversals; Assist with budget preparation; Partner with Senior Accounting Manager & Senior Finance Manager to create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues to ensure the close and reporting processes are efficient and accurate. Essential Functions of this
Position:
Financial Transactions:
Reconcile accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), bank statements, and general ledger entries.
Month-End and Year-End Closing:
Assist with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting
Reporting:
Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to project the company's financial position
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Support budgeting processes by analyzing financial data and providing insights for operational planning
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure adherence to accounting principles, IRS regulations, and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Vendor and Customer Interaction:
Manage daily payment cycles, verify invoices, and maintain relationships with vendors and clients
Special Projects:
Participate in process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and other finance-related projects to enhance efficiency Requirements Bachelors and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting 3-6 years' experience in the accounting or finance Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Intermediate Excel skills including but not limited to: Pivot Tables, INDEX, MATCH, and IF/IFS functions, Data validation, Conditional Formatting, Basic Macros, Statistical modeling, Graphs and charts Other skills not required but recommended Previous experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Familiarity with McLeod software or McLeod hosted applications Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
