Knoxville, TN About Us:
Functional Pathways is a leading healthcare services company committed to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate headquarters in Knoxville, TN. This is an on-site role with opportunities to grow and take on meaningful accounting responsibilities across multiple companies.
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will manage daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks, including general ledger and financial reporting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and special projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the financial close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Perform intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations Maintain the fixed asset ledger, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations Process accounts payable invoices and weekly check runs accurately and on time Manage 1099 vendor information and year-end reporting Assist with corporate credit card reconciliation and business license tracking Ensure all day-to-day accounting activities are performed efficiently and accurately
Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required Minimum of 1+ year of accounting experience Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
