Job Description

Description Titan Brands is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Analysis & Reporting to strengthen our finance team and help provide deeper insight into business performance. This role offers a unique opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys both detailed financial work and analytical problem-solving. The Senior Accountant, Financial Analysis & Reporting will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, profitability analysis, inventory and freight accounting, tax compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives. This position serves as a cross-functional resource within the finance team, helping provide coverage across core accounting functions while expanding the department's reporting and analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to connect detailed financial information to broader business performance. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Business Insights
  • Prepare and maintain monthly revenue reporting and supporting analysis.
  • Develop profitability reporting by product line and sales channel.
  • Analyze business performance and identify trends impacting margins and profitability.
  • Assist with future FP&A initiatives and business intelligence reporting.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve visibility into costs, profitability, and overall business performance. Inventory, Cost Accounting & Compliance
  • Track and account for approximately 100 inbound international containers annually by analyzing cost drivers.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
  • Support state income tax filings and payments.
  • Provide backup support across accounting functions as needed. Systems, Automation & Process Improvement
  • Utilize NetSuite and reporting tools to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models and reporting tools.
  • Help identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance reporting, analysis, and financial processes. Requirements Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with big-picture business thinking. Preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake, Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce, distribution, or consumer products businesses.
  • Inventory, freight, logistics, or supply chain accounting experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • CPA designation or CPA-track candidate.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
