Job Description

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Senior Analyst on the US Corporate Accounting team reporting to OTC Corporate Manager, you will focus on analysis, reporting, legal agreement interpretations and reconciliations. What you'll do during a typical day: Support the month-end close by preparing journal entries, processing billings, compiling reports, and creating queries or Excel-based analyses. Analyze financial performance to identify trends and important causes affecting the Balance Sheet and P&L. Partner with internal and external auditors, and technical accounting teams, to ensure accurate accounting treatment of complex transactions. How you'll collaborate with others: Work with auditors and teams to resolve issues and respond to data requests. Coordinate with third-party providers to gather required data for journal entries, billing processes, and balance sheet reconciliations. Deliverables you'll take ownership of: Manage revenue recognition for application, IT, and opening fees. Maintain the Asset Management System for revenue-related assets. Review corporate-managed revenue for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. What It Takes to Make the Stay You have these minimum qualifications: Two (2) years of professional accounting experience Experience applying the principles and practical applications of GAAP Experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups) It would be useful if you have: BA/BS bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management Experience working in Corporate Financial Analysis
