This role will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for employees on a biweekly and semimonthly basis.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including wages, deductions, and benefits, and record related journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and provide documentation for audits as needed.
  • Reconcile payroll and tax-related accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, and assist with year-end reporting.
  • Ensure all tax filings and payments are submitted on time, while maintaining thorough and accurate records.
  • Oversee business tax reporting and annual report renewals to maintain compliance across multiple states.
  • Build and maintain expertise in state-specific tax requirements and administrative processes to support changing business needs.
  • Perform other support tasks as needed to ensure effective operation of the supply chain process.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience (payroll and tax experience preferred). CPA or working toward certification is a plus Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance Familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements.
