Senior Accountant

Position OverviewRobert Half is seeking a highly skilled Fulltime Consultant to join our team with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support finance transformation, system optimization, and day-to-day accounting and reporting functions. This individual will partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes, enhance system utilization, and deliver actionable financial insights.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounting OperationsSupport core accounting functions including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure data integrity and accuracy within financial systemsPartner with FP&A and controllership teams to deliver timely and actionable insightsDynamics 365 System ExpertiseServe as a functional resource for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Business Central)Support system configuration, troubleshooting, and user supportAssist in system implementations, upgrades, and integrationsCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to optimize workflows and reporting capabilitiesDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards using D365 and integrated tools (e.g., Power BI)Process Improvement & TransformationIdentify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve system efficiencyDrive standardization and documentation of key finance processesSupport automation initiatives and system enhancementsAssist with cross-functional projects related to ERP transformation or finance modernization
