Staff Accountant | Entertainment Industry Nashville | Hybrid $60K-$70K + Paid Overtime Vaco is partnering with an established Nashville business management and consulting firm that works exclusively with clients across the entertainment industry, including artists, producers, publishers, record labels, songwriters, and industry executives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build a strong accounting foundation while gaining exposure to a unique client base. The role will be primarily focused on accounts payable initially, with the opportunity to take on broader accounting responsibilities over time.
Highlights:
Work with clients across Nashville's entertainment industry Exposure to accounting for multiple clients and entities Opportunity to expand your accounting responsibilities over time Paid overtime at time-and-a-half for hours over 40 Hybrid flexibility after the first 90 days, typically 2-3 days in office Employer covers 90% of employee medical premiums 3 weeks

paid holidays What you'll be doing: Primarily accounts payable and invoice processing for multiple entities Accounts receivable and deposit management General ledger maintenance and journal entries Payroll processing Monthly commission calculations Sales and business tax returns 1099 and W-2 support
Requirements:
Bachelor's or graduate degree in Accounting required 1+ year of accounting experience required Hands-on AP/invoice processing experience required Strong academic performance Strong Excel and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Interested in learning more?
