Job Description

Full-Time Accountant - Small CPA Firm We are a growing small CPA firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Accountant to manage accounting functions for multiple monthly clients across a variety of industries. This position requires strong bookkeeping and tax compliance experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced client-service environment. Responsibilities Manage monthly accounting and bookkeeping for multiple client accounts Prepare and file sales tax returns accurately and timely Process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports Maintain general ledger and journal entries Assist clients with accounting questions and provide ongoing support Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information and deadlines Support year-end close and assist with audit and tax preparation processes Income tax preparation experience is a plus Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously Strong knowledge of: Sales tax Payroll tax Financial reporting General bookkeeping/accounting procedures Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required Income tax preparation experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and client service skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth Supportive small-firm work environment

$60,320.00 - $65,000.00 per year
