Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain standard cost models to ensure product and production costs are recorded accurately.
- Review manufacturing performance and investigate cost variances, translating findings into clear financial insights for leadership.
- Manage month-end close tasks related to inventory, cost accounting, and related journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.
- Partner with operations and finance teams to evaluate cost trends, monitor spending, and support profitability improvements.
- Oversee intercompany accounting activity, including transaction review, reconciliation, and elimination entries where required.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
- Use QAD and Excel-based reporting tools to extract, validate, and analyze financial and cost data.
- Help strengthen accounting controls, reporting consistency, and data accuracy across cost-related processes.
