Accountant Sting Soccer - North Texas Addison, TX Job Details 21 hours ago Qualifications Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description Staff Accountant P osition Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial processes accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial data and prepare supporting reports for management. General Ledger Management Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Prepare journal entries and account adjustments as needed. Budgeting & Forecasting Support Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting processes. Help analyze variances between budgeted and actual results. Account Reconciliations Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial records regularly. Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Accounts Payable & Receivable Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Process invoices, payments, and vendor communications. Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collections and payments. Financial Analysis Assist with financial analysis and reporting on key business metrics. Provide support for data-driven decision-making. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency. Assist with implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
