Connect Search has partnered with a growing organization in Beaumont, Texas that is seeking a Degreed Accountant to join its finance team. This position is a great opportunity to grow your career in accounting, while working alongside leadership team and gaining exposure across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience , strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. This is a 100% onsite opportunity located in Beaumont, TX. Job Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger activities. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with established internal controls and accounting policies. Assist with annual budget preparation and monitor actual performance against budget throughout the year. Provide financial analysis and reporting to leadership and key stakeholders. Coordinate with external accounting firms regarding accounting entries, reconciliations, payroll matters, and financial reporting. Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting and insurance requirements. Assist with audits and coordinate audit-related activities and documentation. Support insurance evaluations and vendor contract review processes. Manage banking documentation and assist in establishing new banking relationships and accounts. Ensure payroll tax withholdings and related obligations are properly processed and remitted. Qualifications - Minimum of 2+ years of progressive accounting experience required. Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, general ledger management, payroll, and reconciliations required. Bachelor's degree in accounting is required Excellent attention to details and accuracy Ability to manage deadline schedules and multi-task Must have strong exposure in Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) Excellent written and verbal communication skills This opportunity will not last long, apply today! #FO9
