The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with an accounting degree who is eager to learn, highly organized, analytical, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a growing company environment. Duties General Accounting
  • Prepare and record daily journal entries.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Review transactions for accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
  • Assist with preparation of internal financial reports. Accounts Payable
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders, receiving documents, and approvals.
  • Prepare payment requests and maintain payment records.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, statements, and payment inquiries.
  • Assist with vendor account reconciliations. Accounts Receivable
  • Generate customer invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collection efforts.
  • Apply cash receipts and maintain accurate customer records. Cash Management
  • Assist with cash flow tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor daily banking transactions.
  • Prepare bank deposits and maintain cash records. Payroll Support
  • Assist with payroll preparation and payroll-related reconciliations.
  • Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure payroll transactions are properly recorded. Financial Reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare financial analysis and management reports as needed.
  • Assist with variance analysis, cost tracking, and operational reporting. Compliance and Audit Support
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with annual audit and tax preparation activities.
  • Support compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements as needed. Administrative and Cross-Functional Support
  • Support accounting document management and record retention.
  • Assist with accounting software maintenance and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, and Management teams.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide support in accounting, finance, human resources, purchasing, and general administrative functions.
The successful candidate must be willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities and contribute wherever needed to support business operations.
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
