Job Description
Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary We are looking for a detail, oriented and experienced Accountant to handle accounts payable, payroll processing, employee benefits administration, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records, delivering payroll on time, ensuring compliance with tax and labor regulations, and liaising effectively with external agencies and vendors. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and timely payment processing
- Manage cash management activities, including bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and monitoring daily cash balances
- Process accurate and timely payroll, including wages, deductions, and benefits
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Submit accrual reports as required
- Industrial Reporting Weekly, Monthly, & Quarterly
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, & benefits.
- Manage Retirement packages, benefits and tax forms associated Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of accounting and payroll experience
- Thorough knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits administration, and labor compliance
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting/payroll software
- Comfortable with Industrial Invoicing and Reporting
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Capable of handling multiple deadlines and confidential information
- Experience with 401(k), ACA, and insurance audit reporting
