NetSuite Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance, while also providing oversight and guidance to Accounts Payable staff. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting operations with process improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail, leadership, and strong technical accounting skills are highly valued. Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and review monthly journal entries and general ledger transactions.

+ Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close responsibilities.

+ Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Assist with financial reporting and support audit requests.

+ Oversee the daily activities of Accounts Payable Clerks, providing guidance, training, and review of work output.

+ Monitor AP processes to ensure timely invoice processing, payment accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

+ Support cash management and account analysis activities.

+ Maintain and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation.

+ Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.

+ Utilize NetSuite for general ledger accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and operational support.

+ Assist with special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. What Success Looks Like

+ Accurate and timely completion of the monthly close process.

+ Well-managed AP operations with strong controls and compliance.

+ Clean, timely account reconciliations and issue resolution.

+ Continuous improvement of accounting processes and efficiencies within NetSuite.

+ Strong partnership with accounting leadership and operational teams. Requirements Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. + 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.

+ Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role.

+ Experience overseeing or mentoring Accounts Payable staff preferred.

+ Strong account reconciliation and month-end close experience.

+ Proficiency with NetSuite strongly preferred.

+ Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications

+ CPA or CPA-track preferred.

+ Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation.

+ Experience working in a publicly traded, manufacturing, energy, mining, or industrial environment is a plus.
