US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to Work in the United States Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, performing cost accounting analysis, and managing cash flow reporting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to partner effectively with operations leadership to provide actionable financial insights. Responsibilities General Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances. Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Cost Accounting Analyze product, project, and operational costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities. Maintain and review standard costing, inventory valuations, and cost allocations. Perform inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and manufacturing cost analyses. Cash Analysis & Treasury Support Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts. Monitor daily cash activity and perform bank reconciliations. Assist with treasury-related activities, including wire transfers, debt reporting, and cash management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or CPA-track preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with cost accounting in manufacturing, construction, distribution, or industrial environments strongly preferred. Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and performing cash analysis. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and financial modeling. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
