Full-Time Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant role is responsible for a range of general clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping support functions in the company. The Staff Accountant will assist with and own balance sheet reconciliations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, in accounting preferred. Prior experience in accounting, specifically health care experience is a bonus. Microsoft Office Suite proficient, typing skills.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and record journal entries, including accrual entries, fixed asset entries, and payroll entries. Reconcile general ledger accounts at month-end and analyze. Maintain fixed assets module, ensuring agreement between the general ledger and subledger, sufficient support is retained, and depreciation schedules are accurate. Assist with compliance reporting, including annual external audit, 401k audit, and tax preparation. Perform accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as required by CFO, Controller or Assistant Controller. Performs additional duties as assigned.
