CPA, LLC
is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Laredo, Texas. This position focuses strictly on accounting and bookkeeping services and will not involve preparing tax returns.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update clients' accounting records Categorize transactions and perform monthly bookkeeping Complete bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare adjusting journal entries Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare financial statements and internal reports Assist with payroll and sales tax filings Communicate with clients regarding missing records and accounting questions Support the accounting team with additional projects as needed
Qualifications:
Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is required Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statements Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple clients and meet monthly deadlines Professional, dependable, and willing to learn Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys accounting work, wants to strengthen their skills, and is interested in growing with a local CPA firm.
