Position Summary We are seeking a well-rounded, experienced and dynamic Tax Partner to join our Albuquerque team during this exciting time of growth and transformation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing client relationships and leading high-performing teams. The Tax Partner position offers the unique opportunity to lead and grow within a firm committed to innovation, strategic expansion, and professional development.Essential Functions:
Oversee and manage all aspects of tax engagements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Develop and implement effective tax strategies and planning for clients across various industries. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters. Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm's services are compliant and competitive. Collaborate with other partners and firm leadership to drive business development and growth initiatives.Qualifications:
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a focus on individual, corporate and partnership taxation. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and client engagements. Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them to complex client situations.
