Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing accounting and treasury support to the Director of Accounting in performing all functions related to GL period end close, monthly retail expense analysis, and general & administrative expense analysis. He/She will provide supervisory support to both the Sales Audit Team and Reconciliation Specialists. Other accounting related duties, as assigned by the Director of Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Treasury management and analysis
  • Fixed asset management and analysis
  • Provide accounting leadership with various projects in key area of responsibility
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations
  • Assist with various month close responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining effective and professional relationships with partners, team members and guests
  • Performs other duties as requested or required by supervisor
Key Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Accounting degree and 2 to 5 years of experience is required
  • CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
  • Public accounting experience is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise a large degree of independent judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude This job description is intended to provide a high-level of general requirements for this position.
