Job Description:

Lighthouse Search Advisors is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Staff Accountant who will play a key role in the monthly close process and day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with approximately 3 years of experience who enjoys working within the general ledger, preparing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting. The role is primarily focused on GL accounting and month-end close activities, with dedicated resources handling most AP and AR responsibilities. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances Support financial statement preparation and internal reports Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger activity Assist with audit requests and compliance-related initiatives Collaborate with finance and operational teams on accounting matters Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications NetSuite experience Experience within the chemicals, manufacturing, or distribution industries Exposure to inventory accounting and cost accounting concepts Why Consider This Opportunity?
