PR) is currently seeking a Senior Accountant reporting to the Accounting Manager in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for general operations accounting duties, preparing, and recording accruals, monitoring of internal controls, audit coordination, and other ad hoc responsibilities. We're looking for a detail‑oriented professional with strong oil & gas experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

General Responsibilities:

Record journal entries and support all aspects of the monthly close Prepare quarterly and month end accruals Analyze monthly CAPEX and OPEX results and provide insights to leadership Conduct financial trend analysis and communicate findings to leadership Prepare analysis and journal entries related to acquisitions and divestitures Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls Assist with coordination of external auditors Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA or progress towards certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of Oil and Gas accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience using AI‑powered tools and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency (preferred) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a positive/flexible attitude in a fast-paced work environment
