Construction Accountant Civil Construction Experience Required Circle H Dirt Work & Excavation LLC is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our growing heavy civil construction company. If you have a strong background in construction accounting, job costing, and financial reporting—and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment—we'd like to meet you. Key Responsibilities Financial reporting and month-end/year-end close Job costing and profitability analysis Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting Budgeting and forecasting Cash flow management Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable oversight Progress billing and retainage tracking General ledger management and reconciliations Audit readiness Process improvement and internal financial controls Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience Civil or commercial construction accounting experience required Strong knowledge of job costing and cost codes Experience with construction financial statements and WIP schedules Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid holidays and PTO Opportunity for long-term career growth Supportive, family-oriented company culture Stable, year-round employment
