Job Description
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring, adjusting, and month-end entries.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile other external accounts and financial records.
- Record and maintain fixed asset transactions, including additions, disposals, and depreciation-related entries.
- Process and record daily banking transactions and ensure accurate cash activity.
- Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and payment preparation.
- Prepare and process check runs while ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and related financial reporting.
- Assist the Owner with the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with the Company's annual budgeting process, including gathering financial information and preparing supporting schedules.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax reports and maintain compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Perform manual payroll processing, including calculating payroll, deductions, and related payroll entries.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records, reconciliations, and transactions.
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and other accounting-related projects as needed. What you'll need:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Construction industry experience

- $65K - $75K
