Corporate ControllerPOSITION PURPOSE
Assist Corporate Controller in the accounting operations of the company, providing periodic financial reports, accounting records, and controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Completing Account Reconciliations
- Configure ABL/Borrowing Base for Line of Credit
- Monitoring and Analyzing Fixed Assets
- Support plant location accounting
- Accounting research
- Assist Controller with various initiatives
- Assist in operating unit month-end close
- Assisting with annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Assist with preparing annual budget as well as periodic financial forecasts
- Preparing weekly management reports for submission to operations and corporate
- Review annual/monthly financial statements for accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience preferably in Accounting or equivalent.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise (Excel and accounting software; Great Plains preferred)
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet established deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
