We're looking for a sharp, driven Senior Accountant with strong corporate accounting fundamentals who is ready to expand their expertise. You do not need to be a Cost Accountant to be successful in this role. If you have a strong foundation in month-end close, general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and GAAP — and you're interested in learning the cost and inventory side of the business — we want to talk to you. This is an opportunity to take what you already do well and build a highly valuable new skill set, gaining hands-on exposure to inventory accounting, manufacturing finance, standard costing, margin analysis, and operational accounting while working alongside an experienced team. This is an onsite opportunity. What You'll Own Play a key role in the monthly financial close , including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Reconcile and analyze general ledger and balance sheet accounts and independently resolve discrepancies. Review monthly financial results and dig into the story behind significant variances. Support accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Partner with finance and operations to better understand business performance and its impact on the P&L and balance sheet. Support inventory accounting and reconciliations across raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. Participate in cycle counts, inventory audits, scrap reporting, and inventory accuracy initiatives. Gain hands-on experience with standard costing, manufacturing variances, labor and overhead, BOMs, and inventory valuation . Support internal and external audits and strengthen accounting processes and controls. Identify opportunities to make accounting processes smarter, more efficient, and more scalable. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . 3-6+ years of progressive corporate, general, or senior accounting experience . Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis . Confidence working through accounting issues independently and getting to the right answer. Strong understanding of how accounting activity flows through the balance sheet and P&L . Experience working within an ERP environment; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus . Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis. Strong analytical instincts, attention to detail, and ownership mentality. Ability to communicate and partner effectively across accounting, finance, and operational teams.
