Accounting Generalist

Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview The ideal candidate will have experience handling Accounts Receivable functions, customer billing, payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation activities. Candidates with broader accounting experience, including payroll and light Accounts Payable support, are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Issue invoices and billing statements to customers. Track and apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts. Monitor delinquent accounts and follow up on past due balances. Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, billing discrepancies, and payment deadlines. Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports and aging summaries. Process refunds, write-offs, and account adjustments. Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate customer account records and collection documentation. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account-related concerns. Support internal accounting controls and compliance procedures. Perform day-to-day financial transactions related to Accounts Receivable. Assist with light Accounts Payable and payroll duties depending on experience. Qualifications Previous Accounts Receivable experience required. Accounting experience strongly preferred for higher-level opportunity. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
