Lead financial accounting activities including the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements, reports for senior management, lenders, and investors, and ensure the integrity of all financial data. Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Perform variance, trend, and ratio analyses to assess profitability and support key business decisions. Ensure timely booking and tracking of all revenue and expenses related to the hotel in accordance with accrual accounting principles. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger. Prepare rolling cash flow projections, ensure sufficient availability of funds and credit, and highlight any potential shortfalls proactively to management. Closeout of WIP development projects Oversee timely vendor payments supported by appropriate documentation. Coordinate with outsourced accounting and payroll teams to ensure timely payroll processing and correct journal postings. Prepare timely bank and credit card reconciliations, resolve outstanding items, and liaise with banks for efficient transaction processing, including disbursements for renovation or capital projects. Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes and maintain compliance with all financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Conduct periodic vendor audits to identify discrepancies. Provide information to external auditors annually. Maintain loan management spreadsheet. Continuously improving financial systems, tools, and processes. Analyze operational and financial data to identify risks and opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements that support business growth. Other duties as assigned by management.
