Job Description

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

 Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm $24.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 Process daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Record and apply customer payments (ACH, wire transfers, portal payments) in ERP system Prepare and issue customer invoices based on shipping documentation Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with customers and internal teams Process credit memos and returns in coordination with customer service and quality teams Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and financial reports Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and internal financial reports Collaborate with sales, production, and operations to support financial processes Assist with onboarding new customers by gathering credit and financial information Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure data confidentiality Follow company accounting procedures and compliance standards Provide general support to the Controller as needed 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field At least 2 years of accounting experience Working knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with ERP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
