As part of a collaborative team, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records of offices, ensuring reconciliation with Trucordia standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting financial information, providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision makingWorking with Principles to communicate and manage financial goals/deadlines for month-end processesPerforming full balance sheet reconciliation, including substantiation, for monthly close work papersConsolidating multi-company financial statements with variance analysisSupporting other accounting staff in the creation of annual auditsLeading staff and junior accountants to ensure deadlines are metInterpreting data and identifying trends to influence projectsPerforming revenue reconciliation to carrier and client agreementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or 1-3 years of related experienceProficiency in general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and journal entriesExperience with month-end and year-end closing processesStrong Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas)Ability to analyze financial data and prepare standard financial reportsExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skillsStrong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining integrity and confidentialityAdditional InformationPlease see our companyBenefits:
