Job Description

Overview Under the direction of the Project Manager, coordinates contracts, project documentation, and team communication. Supports project management on assigned construction projects through cost tracking, scheduling, and reporting. Produces accurate project data that project teams rely on to manage budget and schedule performance. Job Responsibilities Administration of contracts including organizing and maintaining contract files, routing contracts for signatures, ensuring contract compliance, and processing payment applications. Track project costs, commitments, and forecasts, and communicate variances to the project team before they affect results . Prepare cost and progress reporting for project stakeholders on a set cadence . Document changes as they occur and their effect on the current budget and schedule . Coordinate with public entities relating to permit submissions, bonding , documentation, and approval tracking . Organize project records and correspondence . Maintain complete and retrievable project documentation. Coordinate project meetings and team communication . Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working knowledge of construction contracts and contract compliance . Working knowledge of construction project coordination , including cost coding, budgets, forecasting, and scheduling . Ability to analyze project data, identify variances, and communicate them to the project team . Accuracy and attention to detail in reporting and recordkeeping . Strong analytical and data management skills applied to project tracking , reporting , and communication . Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines across multiple projects . Exceptional organizational and communication skills , ability to solve problems and to contribute to the refine ment of established processes . Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, and Adobe or Bluebeam and experience working in ERP system s . Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Ability to work in office full-time. Hybrid or remote work is not applicable to this position. Education and Certificates Associate degree or 3 + years of relevant experience in construction management, business, finance, or a related field . Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Periodic visits to active construction sites, which may involve walking o ver uneven terrain, outdoor conditions, and required protective equipment. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds.
