Accountant / Controller
to join our team. As a Sr.
Accountant / Controller
at Pentara, you will lead the accounting function, oversee daily financial transactions, and provide accurate financial reports to leadership. You will guide the owner and executive team by ensuring financial accuracy, cash flow health, and regulatory compliance. We are a close-knit team that values courage , collaboration , accountability, integrity, quality, and persistence . What you will do:
Accounting Operations:
M anage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Audits & Compliance:
Manage internal controls and coordinate with internal audits alongside tax filings.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Partner with the owner and executives to build operational budgets and analyze financial variances.
Who you are:
Enjoy taking ownership and collaborating with others to solve problems. Uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience you will bring:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certification:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience.
Skills:
Deep expertise in GAAP, financial reporting standards, accounting principals, audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formatting).

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
