We have an exciting opportunity and are looking to hire a General Ledger Accountant. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will play an important role in the growth and stability of IMSAR. The accounting team is small but capable. You'd be offering your input on how to build and grow this team while keeping costs low and following required GAAP and DCAA guidelines. These are attributes that are required: At least a BS degree in accounting Two or more years of accounting or finance experience Attention to detail and ability to consistently comply with regulations, policies and procedures These are examples of attributes and specific skills that are very important: An active CPA license, or working toward this Experience with Deltek Costpoint software is preferred Collecting and analyzing data about the company's operational costs Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc. Performing account reconciliations Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to the accounting team Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit Contributing to the company's balance sheet and accounting books Invoicing, fixed asset and financial statement preparation We like to take care of our team members.
