Senior Accountant CPA Turn2Partners - 3.8 Arlington, VA Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $110,000 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications CPA Research SOX Bachelor's degree GAAP Full Job Description Senior Accountant - Arlington, VA One of our clients, is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant and add to their growing team. The successful incumbent must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited 4 year university and have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. CPA is required. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, analyze financial results, and prepare internal and external financial reports in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Research and interpret complex accounting issues, assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements, and recommend appropriate accounting treatment. Evaluate accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, improve efficiency through automation, and assist with SOX compliance and risk mitigation initiatives. Education/Experience CPA (required) Bachelors Degree or above in Accounting from an accredited 4-year university (required) 4+ years of progressive Accounting experience (required) Experience with a variety of Accounting systems (preferred)
