Accountant Fairfax Realty Select is seeking an experienced Accountant for a full-time, on-site position in Falls Church, Virginia. The position will handle accounting and financial reporting for multiple affiliated companies, offices, and related properties. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and manage month- and year-end closing. Perform bank, credit card, balance-sheet, and intercompany reconciliations. Review general ledger activity and journal entries for accuracy. Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management. Coordinate annual tax preparation, 1099 reporting, business licenses, and personal property tax filings. Reconcile payroll, employee benefits, and the company's 401(k) plan. Maintain financial and regulatory records for multiple entities. Qualifications Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. Experience with multi-company or intercompany accounting preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
