Job Description:
Set up, maintain, and close project accounts in the accounting system, ensuring contracts, change orders, vendors, and subcontractors are accurately recorded. Enter and maintain accurate accounting and project data across financial systems and internal databases. Prepare and issue customer invoices, pre-billing reports, lien waivers, and supporting payment documentation. Monitor accounts receivable, outstanding billings, account balances, and payment activity while researching and resolving variances. Review vendor invoices, requisitions, and payment documentation to ensure project expenses are accurate, properly coded, and paid timely. Maintain job cost reports and monitor vendor costs, overhead allocations, commitments, and overall project account balances. Review subcontractor compliance documentation, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and other required records, prior to payment. Add and maintain vendor and subcontractor records within the accounting system, ensuring information remains accurate and complete. Process and reconcile company credit card transactions and verify that required receipts and supporting documentation are provided. Manage the accounting inbox, respond to inquiries, and route requests to the appropriate team members. Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records and documentation. Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting functions as assigned. Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, Project Managers, and internal stakeholders. Perform additional accounting and project-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
QuickBooks and Excel required Procor software a plus BS Degree in Accounting, Business, etc. preferred 4-7 years' prior experience
