This role will be responsible for full-cycle property accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and collaboration with property management teams to ensure accurate financial operations across multiple assets. The ideal candidate has strong real estate accounting knowledge, experience working with multiple entities/properties, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of Commercial and Multi-Family properties Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries Review and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Handle CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease-related accounting for Commercial assets Prepare and analyze rent rolls, delinquency reports, and security deposit reconciliations for Multi-Family properties Assist with annual budgets, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Coordinate with Property Managers regarding financial performance, accruals, and operational expenses Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support ownership and leadership teams with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of Property Accounting experience required Experience supporting both Commercial and Multi-Family real estate portfolios strongly preferred Strong understanding of lease structures, CAM reconciliations, and property financial reporting Experience with real estate accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience Experience with mixed-use portfolios Exposure to owner reporting and investor financial packages Familiarity with budget preparation and audit coordination Commercial and Multi-family property management Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Bonus potential Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and holidays Growth opportunities within a stable and expanding real estate organization
