Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Contractor to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can quickly adapt, work independently, and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Perform bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets Review and enter journal entries Support general ledger maintenance and account analysis Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Assist with audits and special projects as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, or similar systems strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Preferred Experience Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing General Ledger maintenance Reconciliations and month-end close support Financial reporting and data analysis salary: $25 - $39.99 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
