Job Description Community Group, Inc., an Associa company, is hiring a Staff Accountant for its corporate office in Richmond, VA. Ideal role for a new career candidate who is looking for growth opportunities.
Daily responsibilities:
Review and audit financials. Assist with AP, AR, and billing functions. Manage bank authorization signatures. Prepare journal entries, reallocations, and accruals. Review and audit Income Statements and Balance Sheets. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Assist site managers with GL accounts, research entries, make corrections, and set up loans. Meet internal controls and oversight. Interface with board members to explain and help understand financials. Other duties as requested. Requirements Accounting degree is required. 2+ years of accounting experience. Knowledge of GL accounting. Attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative. Customer service driven and team oriented.
