Job Description

Client Accountant We're seeking a finance professional who enjoys combining accounting expertise with relationship management. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for clients, helping them navigate the financial side of their business while ensuring critical accounting, tax, payroll, and compliance processes are completed accurately and efficiently. The position requires someone who can bridge the gap between financial data and practical business insights. You'll work closely with clients to help them understand their numbers, make informed decisions, and maintain confidence in the financial health of their business. Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships from initial onboarding through ongoing service delivery Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal accounting, payroll, tax, and operations teams Review monthly financial reports and bookkeeping work to ensure accuracy and completeness Interpret financial information and communicate findings in a clear, understandable manner Monitor client accounts to identify discrepancies, trends, opportunities, and potential risks Coordinate projects and deadlines across multiple departments to ensure timely completion of deliverables Educate clients on fundamental business finance concepts, including financial statements, cash flow management, and financial best practices Provide guidance that helps clients strengthen financial organization and operational efficiency Maintain regular communication regarding deliverables, upcoming requirements, and key financial milestones Support continuous improvement of client processes and internal workflows Foster confidence in financial decision-making through ongoing consultation and education Ensure a high-quality client experience through responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or a related financial services environment Prior experience working directly with clients, customers, or business stakeholders Working knowledge of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and basic reporting concepts Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to explain financial concepts to individuals with varying levels of financial knowledge Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through Comfortable collaborating across teams and managing cross-functional projects Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred
Pay:
$63,911.77 - $76,969.02 per year
