This position is highly interactive with plant, purchasing, accounting and management staff throughout various locations within the company. It offers a unique opportunity to do monthly accounting activities while also using analytical skills, research, and problem solving to be creative, work on system and accounting projects, and assist with the development and improvement of company inventory software and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting activities and record journal entries Assist in inventory, tracking and recording Perform month end reconciliations Assist with other finance/accounting positions, as needed

Qualifications:

Required Degree in Accounting or Business with Accounting Focus Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge in excel Must be able to multi-task Preferred 2-Year accounting degree Previous accounting experience Accounting Software knowledge Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers .
