Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our growing team. This role will oversee key accounting functions, including financial reporting, project accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting/forecasting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player with strong technical accounting knowledge and an ability to work in a collaborative, high-trust environment alongside leadership and project management teams. Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions Provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting support Assist leadership with financial insights and decision-making General Ledger & Close Process Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly Manage intercompany and internal transactions Lead month-end and year-end close processes Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data Budgeting & Forecasting Assist with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Monitor actual results against budget and analyze variances Support strategic planning initiatives Partner with project managers on project budgets and forecasting Job Costing & Project Accounting Track and analyze job costs across construction projects Partner with project managers to ensure accurate billing and profitability tracking Prepare project margin analysis and revenue recognition reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with job costing and revenue recognition Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
