Staff Accountant

Description + Preparing journal entries and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes + Reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements + Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports + Maintaining and updating accounting records and files + Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions + Preparing and processing payroll as needed + Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations + Assisting with audits and supporting internal controls Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred. + Proficiency with accounting software such as Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Workday. + Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). + Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large volumes of data. + High attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
