Medical, dental, vision, 401K match, PTO, holiday pay Company Overview Our client, a privately held, PE-backed residential remodeling company headquartered in Bothell, WA is seeking a strong Staff Accountant to join their team. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will serve as a key hands-on contributor and right-hand support to the Controller. This role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, assist with payroll and AP processing, and play an active role in improving and documenting financial processes as the company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to bring forward ideas for greater efficiency and accuracy. If you thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and enjoy building structure and process, this is a great opportunity to make a visible impact Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounts payable and support payment authorization processes Assist with payroll data entry and coordination (transition to ADP Workforce Now in progress) Manage general ledger activity, month-end close, and account reconciliations Identify and investigate discrepancies and variances in financial statements Document and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support new business integration Contribute to accounting system transitions Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 2 years of accounting experience required Payroll processing and accounts payable experience preferred Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close processes required Ability to identify issues, think critically, and recommend process improvements
