Job Description

Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function while supporting the VP Of Finance with general accounting activities, financial reporting, and special projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Accounts Receivable department. 2. Generate monthly customer statements. 3. Create credits and billing invoices when needed. 4. Receive and record customer payments accurately. 5. Prepare and make bank deposits for customer payments. 6. Communicate with customers regarding their accounts and provide courteous customer service. 7. Prepare accurate and timely past-due account reports. 8. Work with the company's attorney on collections matters, when appropriate. 9. Apply Northwest Wholesale discount programs to eligible customer accounts. 10. Calculate and assess finance charges on overdue balances. 11. Create and enter monthly accounting general ledger activity. 12. Create and maintain miscellaneous accounting reports. 13. Month-end and year-end close 14. Account Reconciliations 15. Payroll support 16. Audit support 17. Internal controls 18. Assist the VP Of Finance and CEO with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
Pay:
$27.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
