Grower Accounting & Office Coordinator Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented accounting professional to serve as our Grower Accountant & Office Coordinator. This position's primary responsibility is managing grower accounting while coordinating payroll administration and helping ensure the administrative office operates efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes ownership of both financial accuracy and office organization. This role serves as a key resource for the finance team while helping coordinate administrative priorities across the office. Success in this position requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a willingness to build positive working relationships across the organization.Responsibilities:
Grower Accounting Manage accurate grower accounting records and subledger balances. Process grower settlements, payments, receivables, and related transactions. Prepare monthly grower statements and financial reports. Reconcile grower accounts and resolve discrepancies. Maintain documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance. Assist the CFO with grower financial reporting and special projects. Payroll Administration Coordinate payroll processing with the company's third-party payroll provider. Review payroll information for completeness and accuracy before each payroll. Partner with HR to maintain payroll records and employee data, ensuring confidentiality. Assist employees with payroll and benefit questions. Office Coordinator Help coordinate the day-to-day workflow of the administrative office. Foster a collaborative and professional office environment. Assist the CFO and administrative projects, process improvements, and office initiatives. Coordinate communication and administrative support among accounting, reception, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales support. Help identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and consistency. Serve as a resource for administrative staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience. Three or more years of accounting experience, preferably in agriculture. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in accounting software (Compu-Tech, QuickBooks) and payroll systems (Paycom, ADP). Advanced in Excel. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service.Working Conditions & Relationships:

Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.Hours:
Regular business hours; additional hours as needed.Travel:
Minimal, with occasional training or site visits.Reports to:
CFO, and works closely with AP/AR, growers, vendors, and other third parties.Benefits:
