Job Description:

We are working with a large company in downtown Seattle with a strong international presence that needs to hire a long-term consultant to help with reporting, month-end close, and fixed assets. Manage end-to-end oversight of financial processes, including recording journal entries, reconciliations Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting and Statement of Cash Flow Reporting. Proficient in developing Excel schedules and financial workpapers. Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies. Provide analytical review and fluctuation analysis to support periodic activity. Identify internal control gaps and implement controls within the finance, business, or accounting organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting. Review new business contracts and assess their operational and accounting impact. Experience in researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions. Provide direct support to external auditors during walkthroughs, test of controls, and substantive testing. Ability to work independently with close attention to detail. Perform maintenance of Oracle Fixed Assets Subledger.
