We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts payable processes and support core full-cycle accounting functions. This is a traditional accounting role designed for an up-and-coming professional who possesses foundational accounting knowledge, strong technical aptitude, and an exceptional work ethic. This position is fully on-site at our Poulsbo, WA headquarters; remote work is not available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accounts Payable Management:
Manage core AP processes, pay vendors, input business transactions, and maintain clean, accurate ledgers.
Data Integrity & Reconciliation:
Review and reconcile company credit cards and employee expense reports.
Cross-Functional Support:
Partner with internal businesses to deliver daily transaction processing, basic reporting, and forecasting.

System Adaptability:
Utilize our ERP system (SAP Business One) for financial entries and data management, supporting standard system updates as required.
Skills and Experience Education:
Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, or formal certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
Core Accounting Experience:
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or general accounting workflows. Military finance/logistics backgrounds with formal accounting knowledge are welcome.
Drive & Teachability:
A strong, proven work ethic with a desire to take ownership of processes, follow through on tasks, and continuously learn.
Technical Savvy:
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a natural comfort learning new software systems.
ERP Software:
Prior experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
