We are seeking an experienced Client Advisory & Assurance Supervisor who is passionate about client service, leadership, and helping build the future of the firm. This role is assurance-focused, with exposure to tax and advisory services, and is designed for an individual who wants to contribute beyond technical production. JBA is dedicated to building out an accounting and assurance team, this role would be pivotal in developing a new service line. The ideal candidate would also have a vision of working towards partnership and moving into a CFO role for our internal needs. The right candidate will lead engagements, mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and help shape the next chapter of JBA's growth. What You'll Do Lead compilation, and review engagements from planning through completion. Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures. Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout engagements. Assist business owners in understanding financial information and making informed decisions. Review staff work and provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance. Participate in client advisory and planning discussions. Prepare and review business tax returns as needed. Research accounting and tax matters and communicate findings clearly. Identify opportunities to improve client service, internal processes, and team development. Assist with training initiatives and professional development programs within the firm. What We're Looking For Active CPA license required. 7+ years of public accounting experience. Significant assurance experience including compilations, reviews, and audits. Experience supervising staff and reviewing work. Experience managing client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor. Working knowledge of business taxation. Strong communication and leadership skills. Professional curiosity and sound judgment. A desire to mentor others and contribute to the firm's long-term success.
