Project Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support a dynamic, project-based accounting team. This role will focus on financial reporting, job costing, and compliance activities tied to active projects, while partnering closely with internal teams to ensure accurate funding, reporting, and execution. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review project draw packages and supporting documentation for funding requestsGenerate and distribute monthly financial reports related to project activityReview project financials, including job cost and contract reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completenessIdentify and escalate discrepancies, billing issues, or compliance risksAssist with preparation and review of project-level and joint venture financial statementsReview compliance documentation such as lien waivers and related project recordsSupport capital calls, distributions, and related financial processesPartner with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to address project accounting questionsProvide support during audit and year-end processes, including responding to documentation requests
