Our brands cover the areas of Environmental Infrastructure Services, Vegetation/Green Waste Management, Foundation Drilling and Upfit. Our locations sell, service and rent specialty heavy equipment and the associated parts and represent leading brands such as Vactor, Elgin, Bandit and HPM. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Corporate Accounting Department as a Senior Accountant, working out of our Vancouver, WA corporate office. The successful candidate will help support and manage our growth as we continue to expand into new markets. We are looking for a solid professional and a great teammate who is willing to grow and invest themselves into learning the business.Pay :

Supports the month-end and year-end close processes Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries Manages technical accounting including lease accounting, goodwill impairment, acquisition purchase accounting Updates and confirms new recurring entries Responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Assists with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements Produces accurate accounting reports and provides insight on their results Drives improvements in monthly reporting and identifying areas of focus Prepares additional analyses on an ongoing as needed basis Works with Senior Financial analysts and business leaders to research budget to actual variances Assists the Controller and CFO with the preparation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures Strives to continually streamline and improve existing processes Responsible for the preparation of audit schedules as well as other analyses for the annual audit Drafts annual financial statements and footnotes Assists with projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team or with other departmentsQualifications:
5+ years of Accounting, Audit, or related Finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA candidate a plus Public accounting experience preferred Advanced Excel skills can be a great separator Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and prioritize effectively Excellent interpersonal skills with proven track record to build relationships Experience with MS Dynamics Business Central a plusSimilar jobs in Vancouver, WA
